After a comfortable coach ride from Hasselt, the trip got off to a delicious start with lunch at a charming French bistro in Épernay. Next came two completely different takes on the world of champagne.
The family-owned Champagne House Grasset-Stern welcomed the group for a personal tour and tasting, while the iconic Champagne Mercier impressed with its vast underground cellars, a train ride through the tunnels and, of course, another tasting.

After a relaxing evening at Hotel La Briqueterie, complete with an elegant four-course dinner, the group set out to discover Reims. A guided tour revealed the city’s rich history, followed by a visit to its breathtaking cathedral.
One last lunch in the heart of the city wrapped up a trip filled with good food, great company and many stories to bring home.
